Cyprus Fall 2026

Redeemer is taking a short-term trip to Girne, Cyprus, Oct. 29th- Nov. 8th, 2026 to visit Dave and Dorothy Parker, Redeemer missionaries to Northern Cyprus, and to come alongside New Life Church, one of Redeemer’s global church partners. We will also learn about the work that Jonathan and Katie Doub, long-term partners of Redeemer, have been doing in Cyprus for many years. Early in their time there, the Doubs helped plant New Life Church and have continued in the pioneering work of caring for and strengthening this young church body.

During the trip, our team will encourage the Parkers and the members of New Life Church as they continue the work of gospel ministry in Girne. New Life Church is also in the midst of a multiyear renovation project for their church building, and our team will help support practical needs related to that process. Construction experience and handyman skills would be helpful, but they are not required.

This trip is especially well-suited for those who want to encourage missionaries, learn about ministry in a spiritually strategic part of the world, and serve a young local church through practical help and relational support. Our hope is to strengthen Redeemer’s partnership with New Life Church and return better equipped to pray for and support the work of the gospel in Cyprus.

The estimated trip cost is $2,000–$2,300 per person, with the final cost determined after the team is finalized and flights are purchased. A $300 deposit secures your spot, and completing the application commits you to the full final trip cost. The cost includes all trip expenses except medical or immunization costs. You will need a current passport that does not expire within six months of the trip dates. The team will participate in three mandatory pre-trip trainings and one post-trip debrief.
