Central Asia Spring 2025

We are so excited about what the Lord has in store for this trip and team and would love to talk with you if you are interested! Here are a few details for you to look over and talk with the Lord about.

In April, Redeemer will be sending a short-term team to assist the Enezes in their church planting efforts in Central Asia. We have deep connections with their team, some of whom have been on the field for a couple decades in different parts of Central Asia. This team is in the early stages of building relationships with locals in their city with the hope of seeing the beginnings of a healthy and thriving local church.

We will join their team through prayer walking, evangelistic conversations, and relationship building. As we pray through the city, we will be open to starting conversations with locals in hopes to learn more about their culture. As the Holy Spirit opens doors, we can be bold to have gospel conversations with them. The vision of this trip will be mainly prayer walking and connecting relationships that we make to the long term team for further conversations and hopeful discipleship opportunities. Additionally, we will visit some of the historic sites of the seven churches in Revelation and seek new opportunities to expand their gospel footprint in these areas. 

We estimate that the total trip will cost approximately $2800-3200 per person. However, since Redeemer wants to support members going on our short term trips, we will be contributing substantially per person towards this trip, which will bring the actual cost to $2100-2400 per person (exact cost determined after team is finalized and flights purchased). If you feel that the Lord is leading you to participate in this trip, but are concerned about finances, please reach out to the missions staff. We do not ever want finances to be an obstacle that keeps you from obediently stepping forward in faith and would love to discuss different options.

The trip cost includes all expenses except any medical and immunization expenses, which you will need to discuss with your own doctor and/or a travel clinic doctor. You need to have a current passport or apply for one immediately (the trip dates must not be within 6 months of the expiration date). We provide 4 mandatory pre-trip training meetings, as well as 1 post-trip meeting/debrief. The dates for these are:

April 27  debrief meeting
