Cyprus Fall 2025

Redeemer is taking a team to Girne, Cyprus October 30- November 9, 2025 where Jonathan and Katie Doub have served for over 10 years. They have been partners with our church since Redeemer began, and have spent substantial time serving in Kyrgyzstan, England, and Cyprus. Early in their time in Cyprus, the Doubs planted New Life Church and continue in the pioneering work of caring for this young church body. 

We are so excited about what the Lord has in store for this trip and team and would love to talk with you if you are interested! Here are a few details for you to look over and pray about!

In October, Redeemer will be sending a short-term team to assist the Doubs in their efforts and come alongside New Life Church. They are in the midst of a multiyear renovation project for their recently purchased church building and all of our trips over the next few years will assist in this renovation process. Construction experience and handyman skills are a great addition, but not required. We will also spend time encouraging the Doubs and other church members, as well as teaching English classes in the community as a strategic means to build relationships with local nonbelievers.

We estimate that the total trip will cost approximately $3000 per person. However, since Redeemer wants to support members going on our short term trips, we will be contributing substantially per person towards this trip, which will bring the actual cost to $2000- 2300 per person (exact cost determined after team is finalized and flights purchased). If you feel that the Lord is leading you to participate in this trip, but are concerned about finances, please reach out to the missions staff. We do not ever want finances to be an obstacle that keeps you from obediently stepping forward in faith and would love to discuss different options. There is a $300 deposit to secure your spot on the trip, filling out the application is your commitment to be held responsible for full payment of the final trip cost.

The trip cost includes all expenses except any medical or immunization expenses, which you will need to discuss with your own doctor and/or a travel clinic doctor. You need to have a current passport or apply for one immediately (the trip dates must not be within 6 months of the expiration date). We provide 3 mandatory pre-trip training meetings, as well as 1 post-trip meeting/debrief. The dates for these are:
