Hungary College 2025

Redeemer is taking a team to Budapest, Hungary May 4-16, 2025 where our global partner, Bekah Leary, has served for many years. Bekah has partnered with Redeemer since 2018 while serving in many capacities. Currently, she ministers to international university students through her local church. We are excited to join Bekah and her team in their campus ministry and look forward to what the Lord has in store for this trip. We would love to talk with you if you are interested! Here are a few details for you to look over and talk with the Lord about.

In May, Redeemer will send a short-term team to assist Bekah and her team in their efforts. We will spend time seeing the various roles and ministries her team serves through, serving at a youth camp, and meeting university students. We will also spend time encouraging Bekah and her teammates in the work they are doing. 

We estimate that the total trip will cost approximately $2000-2300 per person. However, since Redeemer wants to support members going on our short term trips, we will be contributing substantially per person towards this trip, which will bring the actual cost to ≈$2000 per person. If you feel that the Lord is leading you to participate in this trip, but are concerned about finances, please reach out to the missions staff. We do not ever want finances to be an obstacle that keeps you from obediently stepping forward in faith and would love to discuss different options.

The trip cost includes all expenses except any medical expenses (medicine, immunizations, etc), which you will need to discuss with your own doctor and/or a travel clinic doctor. You need to have a current passport or apply for one immediately (the trip dates must not be within 6 months of the expiration date). We provide 4 mandatory pre-trip training meetings.
The dates for these are: March 22nd, April 5th, April 19, and April 27th. All of these will take place at 11:15 at Stephen's home in Crestwood, right near the church!
